| Classical Concert | In 2024, greenear wanted to shed light on the artistic scene in Busan, a city that was thriving with artistic activity, with a classical concert for refreshment. |
Modern Art in Busan

During the Korean War, many refugees descended on Busan, including artists, who made their homes in Gwangbok-dong (now Nampo-dong) and continued their artistic endeavors. In the 1950s and 1960s, Nampo-dong became a center for the arts, and artistic aspirations blossomed even in the midst of war.
It was also home to the first generation of documentary photographer Choi Min-sik, whose cameras captured a vivid picture of postwar Busan and its people. Korea's first film production company was also founded here, and Busan became more than just a place of refuge, but a cultural center with a deep artistic legacy and imprint that remains to this day.
With the Classic

To shed light on the artistic history of Busan's Nampo-dong neighborhood and revive the emotions of that time, greenear chose classical music. we wanted the concert organized with a pianist and cellist, to be a special reminder of the unique artistic landscape of post-war Busan.
The beloved songs “La Vie en Rose” and “Morning at Tiffany's” are iconic pieces that evoke the emotions of the time when refugees and artists gathered in Nampo-dong to find new hope. We wanted to convey the warm sentiment and hope of that time by reminding us of the time when Busan was healing the wounds of war through art.

I think it will stay in my memory for a long time♡. - Park ji* said | The gorgeous hanok space, the soft wooden box, the piano and cello melodies, and the sound of cicadas made for the best summer concert ever. - Kim Hyo* said | To be able to see Eunseok Byun play so close.
