Korea Tourism Organization and Hanok Solhyangjae
Last November, a meaningful disbandment ceremony of the Korea Tourism Organization took place at the serene Hanok Solhyangjae in Eunpyeong Hanok Village, Seoul. Greenear Solhyangjae offered participants, who were concluding their busy activities with the Tourism Organization, a special Korean cultural experience to create cherished memories.
Traditional Korean Minhwa Painting with a Master Artist

Before the ceremony, participants engaged in a traditional Korean Minhwa painting experience with a master artist. They had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Korean traditional art by directly painting peonies, symbolizing wealth and happiness, and peaches, signifying health, happiness, and prosperity as fruits of the immortals. The finished paintings were then stamped with a chosen Chinese character seal and beautifully wrapped in traditional Korean paper, making for a meaningful gift. Participants were captivated by the charm of Minhwa under the delicate and kind guidance of artist Shin Sang-ah
Traditional Korean Tea and Snack Table: Enjoying Leisure with All Five Senses

Following the Minhwa experience, a table meticulously prepared with traditional Korean tea and various snacks was set for each participant. A tea ceremony set was provided for them to brew and enjoy tea directly, alongside a variety of traditional snacks including candied walnuts (Hodu-jeonggwa), ginger Yugwa, pumpkin Yakgwa, and dried tangerine chips. Participants calmly savored their tea, prolonging the lingering emotions of the Minhwa experience, and enjoyed a comfortable time engaging with one another.
Solhyangjae's Special Space Utilization and Beautiful Memories

The Solhyangjae Hanok was flexibly utilized as both a Minhwa experience area and a disbandment ceremony venue. The lower level of the stepped floor was arranged with seating for 19 participants and 2 officials from the Tourism Organization, while the upper level was used for photo shoots and staff equipment storage. Furthermore, a traditional Korean tea ceremony set was arranged in front of the garden, serving as both a photo zone and an experience zone, adding to the richness of the event. The beautiful moment of concluding the event was captured with a group photo taken at the back gate of the hanok.
This disbandment ceremony was a profound occasion to deeply experience Korean culture, foster interaction, and create invaluable memories. Greenear Solhyangjae will continue to plan and operate diverse cultural programs that offer special experiences and meaningful times, and we look forward to your visit.
