" To share a quiet, special moment with Mom, we visited Solhyangjae. Talking over a warm cup of tea, we could focus more on each other. Leaving our busy days behind, we were happy to have an intimate and peaceful time just for us. Mom loved it too, so we're glad we came. Next time, we'd love to come with our husbands :) " Choi** |
"I've become very interested in tea lately, so I joined this experience. The expert's delicate tea demonstration and listening to the story of each tea were a new sensory delight for me. The taste, the aroma, and even the scenery of the snowy Hanok truly brought me healing! " Jung** |

• Make Korean Tea Bangsho •

In the cold winter,
Our ancestors found wisdom
in Jacksal tea (雀舌茶)
to soothe their minds and bodies.
Following this tradition,
We've prepared
a special tea-making experience,
Combining seasonal fruits
and Korean black tea.
We have prepared winter ingredients
like quince, Asian pear, yuzu,
tangerine peel, and pumpkin.
Like a Korean Tea Bangsho,
We invite you to blend them to your taste and
create your one-of-a-kind Jacksal tea.
With 'your own winter tea,'
crafted alongside a traditional tea expert,
We share the warmth gifted by winter's nature.

"...Cho-ui Seonsa explained that
Drinking tea alone is called 'Shin' (神),
Reaching a mysterious realm.
Drinking tea face-to-face
with another is called 'Seung' (勝),
Meaning it couldn't be any better."
We share warm peace with just a cup of tea.

| Episode #1 Teacher |

Park Ji-hye
I made green tea at Sancheong Jedawon in Sancheong, Jirisan. I started my day by passing through the foggy tea field at dawn, holding a freshly dried tea leaf in my hand, and smelling the green scent and soil rising from the leaves. At first, I thought it was simply 'making tea', but when I bumped into it myself, it was more of a work of farming, training, and art.
Not everyone can clean tea leaves. The temperature of the fire, the pressure on your fingertips, the fine sound of the tea leaves. I had to concentrate all my senses on it. If I miss even one moment, the scent of tea will change quickly. In that tension, I found out that dealing with tea was ultimately a conversation with nature. Making tea is what eventually strengthens my inner mind. Feeling nature with my whole body and adjusting myself to that rhythm, that was me, and maybe even the purest form of meditation.

" I believe a warm look and a heartfelt cup of conversation lasts longer than a fancy gesture. "

Kwon ji-won
I believe the tea leaves in a single cup hold the four seasons—sun, wind, rain, and even snowflakes. That's why I think sharing a cup of tea with someone is like sharing the very essence of nature. When you share tea with me, I hope you can truly feel nature through that single cup. Our fragrant green tea, especially, transforms. After steeping the dry, firm tea leaves two or three times, they unfurl, returning to their original form, much like fresh sprouts blooming from a branch.

" I hope to share a cup of tea that inspires love for the present moment. "
