Sogwado are drawings of fruits or plants, such as watermelons and peaches, that are commonly found in the environment. All of the subjects of Sogwado are blessings and wishes for fruitfulness, and all of them have a common feature: they are plants. Refresh yourself on a sunny Saturday morning by immersing yourself in a folk tale of your own wishes.

I'm Shin Sang-ah, a folk painting artist and the owner of Studio Hwayeon. She has been fascinated by folk tales since she was a child, watching her mother, a traditional folk tale artist, from her side.

"When you go home and look at your finished painting, I want you to remember the temperature, weather, scents, and emotions you felt that day as you mixed the pigments."

A century-old hanok house with different charms during the day and night, <Waaok> is loved as a cafe by day and a cocktail bar by night. The Korean landscape from the windows is one of the highlights of the place.

1. peach symbolizes longevity, a perfect gift for parents;
2. watermelon symbolizes fertility, a suitable gift for newlyweds

• Course Dates: Saturday, 7/27, Saturday, 8/3, Saturday, 8/10, Saturday, 8/17, Saturday, 8/24
• Course Time: 10:00pm ~ 11:30pm
• Course Location: Waaok (Samcheong-dong)
Please note
• We will prepare materials/places for the number of participants, so we are unable to accept additional walk ins.
• If you damage the course venue and materials, you may be required to pay compensation.
• There is no parking lot at the course location 'Waaok', so please use a public parking lot nearby.
• Public parking may also be difficult to find near Samcheong-dong, so we recommend using public transportation.

• 100% refund up to 8 days before the course date
• 50% refund from 7 days to 4 days before the course start date
• No refund from 3 days before the course start date
