Introduction

Hello, I'm Shin Seung-yeop, currently pursuing a Master's degree at Kyungsung University. I started playing the cello as a hobby in my childhood and continued consistently until I decided to major in it.

I believe that connecting with the audience and offering a deep emotional impression through music is an important mission for a musician.

What to expect while doing thisd7c8ccf76eee5.jpeg

When I'm performing and the audience responds well, I feel a sense of exhilaration that is truly indescribable.

Also, when I happen to meet audience members who recognize me or receive messages of support on Instagram, I feel so proud and motivated to work even harder to bring good music to the audience.

Interview

Q. What are some of your most memorable places and experiences in nature in Korea?

It reminds me of visiting Jeonju Hanok Village with my family when I was young.

The memory of waking up early and going out to the courtyard at night to see the stars packed so densely it felt almost scary is still a truly special and visually stunning experience that has become a lasting memory.

Q.  What does nature mean to you?

For me, nature is a comforting presence that allows me to heal when I'm going through difficult times.

Q. What do you want people to take away from the experience and healing you provide?

I hope that through my music, the audience can find healing for their difficult day, and if they are going through a tough time, that I can be someone they can lean on, even if just for a moment, forgetting their hard memories.
