Yeonwoo Teahouse Mugwort Tea This mugwort tea, Crafted from young mugwort grown at three major Jirisan tea farms, is known for warming the hands and feet. 3. Seomjin Teahouse Black Tea, Jinhyang A botanist delicately cultivated and harvested this tea by the Seomjin River, offering its profound aroma. I made green tea at Sancheong Jedawon in Sancheong, Jirisan. I started my day by passing through the foggy tea field at dawn, holding a freshly dried tea leaf in my hand, and smelling the green scent and soil rising from the leaves. At first, I thought it was simply 'making tea', but when I bumped into it myself, it was more of a work of farming, training, and art.
Not everyone can clean tea leaves. The temperature of the fire, the pressure on your fingertips, the fine sound of the tea leaves. I had to concentrate all my senses on it. If I miss even one moment, the scent of tea will change quickly. In that tension, I found out that dealing with tea was ultimately a conversation with nature. Making tea is what eventually strengthens my inner mind. Feeling nature with my whole body and adjusting myself to that rhythm, that was me, and maybe even the purest form of meditation.

I believe the tea leaves in a single cup hold the four seasons—sun, wind, rain, and even snowflakes. That's why I think sharing a cup of tea with someone is like sharing the very essence of nature. When you share tea with me, I hope you can truly feel nature through that single cup. Our fragrant green tea, especially, transforms. After steeping the dry, firm tea leaves two or three times, they unfurl, returning to their original form, much like fresh sprouts blooming from a branch.
