Shin hyun-ji
I'm Shin Hyun-ji, the leader of the gugak team 'Chodong'. I started by falling in love with haegeum, and now it's become my entire life. I've always loved communicating with people through music, especially the delicate emotional lines and deep resonance of our music, so I naturally chose this path.
Choi Seung-Joo
I became interested in Korean music when I started learning gayageum as a child and fell in love with the charming and unique sound of it, which led me to major in daegeum. I am trying to preserve and develop the charming sound of the daegeum by performing music with it, reinterpreting it in a modern way, and introducing it to many people.
Kim Yu-min
Ever since I was a child, music has always made me feel emotional and comforted me. I started composing because I wanted to share my feelings and influences with others. I want to make music that touches people's hearts, and I want to bring strength and comfort to many people through my music.

Chodong, which means 'first movement', is a group of Korean music majors from Ewha Womans University who are looking for new meaning by reinterpreting Korean music in a modern way;
The group aims to communicate with audiences through music, which is the "first vibration" that resonates with people's emotions, and to showcase the various charms of Korean music.
